2、.Aslarge-scaledChineseState-owned-enterprises(SOEs)rapidlyexpandtheirbusinesses,thedemandforconsultingservicesissoaring.TheseSOEshavethusbeendevelopingarmsoftheirown,providingexpertiseandexperiencestofacilitatebusinessdevelopment.Nonetheless,duetoavarietyoflimitations,SOEconsultingfirmsareconfr
3、ontedwithstrongcompetitionfromtheirforeignandprivatecounterparts,particularlyinhumanresources,manyarenowfindingitdifficulttoattract,cultivateandkeeptalents.Therefore,itispivotalforSOEconsultingfirmstoreformsalarysystemsinordertostrengthentheircorecompetences.Ahealthyandcompetitivesalarysystemco
4、uldtranslateintoimprovedcompetitivenessandsustainabledevelopmentofanenterprise.Onthebasisofevaluatingthebackgroundandimportanceoftheabove-mentionedsubjects,thisstudyintroducestheoriesandpracticesregardingsalarymanagement,andassessesthemarkettrendsandprinciplesagainstwhichSOEconsultingfirmsareto
5、reformtheirsalarysystems.Inaddition,thisstudytakescompanyYasahypotheticalcase,analyzestheexistingissuesinitssalarysystem,andproposesstrategiesandprocessestoredesignasystemwhichfitsforitsoperatingenvironmentandkeepsitmarketcompetitive.Thenewsystemestablishestwoorganizationalhierarchiesandfloatin
