4、ittocomplywiththeUniversity’spurchasingpolicyandassociatedprocedures.KEYASPECTSOFTHETENDERINGPROCESS3.OpentenderingUniversitytendersshouldbeopentothepublicsothatthemarketisassessedforthegoodsorservicesrequired.Therearetwowaysthismaybedone,eitherbyfullyOpenTenderoramulti-stagetenderwhichinitially

5、involvesthecallingofanExpressionofInterest,followedbyaSelectiveTender.TheProcurementServicesDepartmentmustapproveallOpenTenderproposalsandtheChiefProcurementOfficermustapproveallEOIproposals.4.InvitedtenderingInvitedTenderingmaybeusedinsteadofOpenTenderingincertaincircumstances.InvitedTenderingo

6、ccurswhenspecificsuppliersareinvitedtotenderforgoodsorservicesratherthanthetenderbeingopentoanysuppliers.TheChiefProcurementOfficermustapproveallInvitedTenderproposals,withtheexceptionofusingapprovedpre-qualifiedsupplierpanels.5.DocumentationAccountabilityrequirescomprehensivedocumentationforall
