4、resittocomplywiththeUniversity’spurchasingpolicyandassociatedprocedures.KEYASPECTSOFTHETENDERINGPROCESS3.OpentenderingUniversitytendersshouldbeopentothepublicsothatthemarketisassessedforthegoodsorservicesrequired.Therearetwowaysthismaybedone,eitherbyfullyOpenTenderoramulti-stagetenderwhi

5、chinitiallyinvolvesthecallingofanExpressionofInterest,followedbyaSelectiveTender.TheProcurementServicesDepartmentmustapproveallOpenTenderproposalsandtheChiefProcurementOfficermustapproveallEOIproposals.4.InvitedtenderingInvitedTenderingmaybeusedinsteadofOpenTenderingincertaincircumstance

6、s.InvitedTenderingoccurswhenspecificsuppliersareinvitedtotenderforgoodsorservicesratherthanthetenderbeingopentoanysuppliers.TheChiefProcurementOfficermustapproveallInvitedTenderproposals,withtheexceptionofusingapprovedpre-qualifiedsupplierpanels.5.DocumentationAccountabilityrequirescompr
