2、portfolioappearstoshowitssignificanceinmodernteachingpractice,andimprovelearnerautonomyinandoutclassrooms.Sincetheyearof2002,thenewEnglishCurriculumStandardsuggestsEnglishwritingcanbeexaminedandassessedinmanywaysbeyondthetraditionaltexts,andthepossibilitythattheapplicationof
3、EnglishwritingportfoliomaybeusedasaeffectivetoolinEnglishwritingclass.ThisstudyexaminestherelationshipbetweentheconstructionofEnglishwritingportfolioandlearnerautonomythroughexperimentsinreallyclassandtoproposemethodstoimproveautonomyonthebaseofwritingportfolio.Theresearchqu
4、estionthatwasinvestigatedwas:(1)Canthetrainingofsettingupwritingportfoliopromotelearners’abilityofautonomouslearning?(2)Canthetrainingofsettingupwritingportfoliopromotelearners’writingability?Thecorrelationwasmeasuredfor92participantsintwoclassesfrominaNo.1seniorschoolinthec
5、ityofJinChanginGansuProvince.ThisisimportantbecauseoftherelativelylowEnglishwritinglevelinseniorhighschoolaroundChina,especiallyinthewestpartofChina.Traditionalclasshasreducedstudentsinterestinlearninginwriting,especiallyEnglishwriting.Ontheotherhand,highschoolistransitional
6、periodofenteringtotheuniversity,anditalsoprovidesthefoundationforstudentsoffuturelifeduetogoodtimeofyouth.Tosomeextent,whatthestudentslearnandhowtheylearninseniorhighschoolguides,andevendeterminesthewholeknowledgeofindividual’slife.Thisstudyisinhopethatitmightimprovetheeffec
7、tivenessofthestudents’learningnotonlyontheclassinseniorhighschool,andmoreimportantly,theircontinuouslyautonomouslearningaftertheclass.Thisstudyadoptsmanyapproaches,suchasobservation,questionnaire,formalandinformalinterviewandtest,andthedatawasprocessedwithSPSSsoftwareandMicr
