2、engingjob.Althoughfilmtranslationhasbeendevelopingquicklyinthepasttwoorthreedecades,filmtitletranslationisafarlessexploredfield.Uptillnow,nosystematicandfeasibletheoryonEnglishfilmtitletranslationhasbeenputforward.Actually,filmtitletranslationisveryproblematicinthatitisin
3、astateofdisunity.Fromtheaspectsofthefunctionsandskoposoffilmtitles,theauthormakesananalysisofthetranslationoffilmtitles.Skopostheory,anewlydevelopedtheory,isadoptedasthetheoreticalbackgroundofthisthesisandanaudience-orientedfilmtitletranslationapproachishighlyadvocated.Fu
