3、ebiggestobstacletoChinese-EnglishSIhasbeenattributedtothefactthatinterpretersorSIpractitionersapplytheirfirstlanguage(LI)knoeaningexpressedinthesource-languagespeechinthetargetlanguageorthesecondlanguage(L2).Asaresult,languagetransferhasbeenstudiedbymanyscholarsandtheroleofLIhas

4、beendiscussedheatedly.OverthelastfeesostimportantfactorinL2learningasountofevidenceforlanguagetransfering.Sincethe1980s,hoergedandithelpedpeopletorethinktheroleoflanguagetransferfromacognitiveframeothertongue(MT)ofChinesepeopleplaysintheproductionofEnglishasaforeignlanguage.Acco

5、rdingtopreviousstudies,languagetransfercanbeclassifiedintopositivelanguagetransferandnegativelanguagetransfer.ilar,LILI,thelearner'sLIknooreattentionfromscholarsandstudiesofnegativelanguagetransferfaroutnumberthoseofpositivelanguagetransfer.Inothersoflanguagetransfer,bothresearc

6、hersonL2andL2learnershavereachedaconsensusthatthestructureofChinesediffersfromthatofEnglishandthisdifferenceisregardedasthebiggestobstacletoChinesestudentslearningEnglish.AccordingtothedatafrompreviousstudiesonitorC-ESI，i-->tisclaimedthatinfluenceexertedbysimultaneousinterpreter
