4、unitsiscostlyordificultbutrankingoftheunitsinasmallsetiseasyandinexpensive．TheideaofRSSWasfirstproposedbyMcIntyre(1952)inordertofindamoreeficientmethodtoestimatetheaverageyieldofpastureandWassubsequentlydevelopedintheoryandapplicationbymanyothers．OzturkandWolfe(2000)proposedmedianrankedsetsampl
