5、(onlywithsmallpercentage)suchasnaturalgas.The1996electricalenergyconsumptioninJordanreachedavalueof6000GWh.About93%ofhisamountwasproducedbytheNationalElectricPowerCompany(NEPCO)whichisthemainelectricitysupplierinthecountry[1].Otheroptionsoralternativesofenergysourcesfo
6、relectricpowergenerationmustteeconsidered.Theseoptionsmayincludenuclear,solar,wind,orhydro-electricenergies.TheJordanianexperiencewithelectricitygenerationusingsolarandwindenergytechnologyhasbeenonthesmallandexperimentalscale.Theserenewableenergysystemswereutilizedinmo
