5、defeatingthesethreatshead-on,bysuccessfullyintegratingdesign,aesthetics,andpublicsafetythroughoutthebuiltenvironment.Buildingsecurityisbasedonidentifyingthreatsandvulnerabilitiesinordertodeterminethemostappropriatemethodsofprotectingpeople,buildings,as

6、sets,andongoingoperations.Theprimarygoalsofsecurityarepreventingormitigatingdamagefromterrorism,crime,anddisaster,sothatcom-munitiescanmaintaintheflowofcommerceandcontinuetherhythmofdailylife.Reconcilingtheserealitiesisoftendifficult.However,untilgloba
