3、encesofthePCR-amplifiedhaemagglutininbreaksofwinterdysentery(WD).Theformationofesterase(HE)genesofonerepresentativeWDstrainpolykaryonsintheinfectedcellcultureswasfoundtobe(BCQ.2590)andtwohighlycytopathicNCDstrainsdependentonthepresenceoftrypsininthemedium.(BCQ.3andBCQ.571)revealedhighde
4、greesofTheWDisolatesdifferedfromtheprototypeMebussimilarities(ntandaasequencehomologies>98%)strainofbovineenteropathogeniccoronaviruswiththeBCV.Mebstrain.Theputativeesteraseactive(BCV.Meb)inrespecttohaemagglutinationinhibitionsiteFGDSwasconservedamongthesefourBCVstrains,(HI),haemaggluti
5、nationpatternsat4°Cand37°C,andindicatingthatthisdomainisprobablynotadeterminantreceptordestroyingenzymeactivitywithraterythro-forBCVvirulence.Sixaminoacidsubstitutionsoccurredcytes.OtherfieldstrainsofBCVassociatedwithbetweentheHEglycoproteinsofBCV.Mebandoutbreaksofneonatalcalfdiarrhoea(
6、NCD)alsodifferedBCQ.2590strains;twoprolinesubstitutionsoccurredfromtheBCV.Mebstrainbydemonstratingdifferencesrespectivelyinthesignalpeptide(ataa5)andneartheinHI.Inallcases,nodifferencesweredetectedbyvirussequencesoftheputativeesterasedomain(ataa53).Outbreaksofacutediarrhoeainadultcattle
