1、METHODOLOGYSECTIONSMETHODOLOGYSECTIONSSECTION3–ENGAGEMENTTYPESELECTIONTheBPDMGuideprovidesthepractitionerwithstepbystepguidanceforeachofthethreetypesofbusinessprocessdesignengagementsthatpractitionerscommonlyencounter.Thissectioncharacterizesandcomparesthosethreeengagementtypes.
2、Itprovidesthepractitionerwithacriteriafordeterminingwhichengagementtypeisthemostappropriateforagivenclientsituationandwithdetailedinformationaroundplanningtheworktypicallydoneduringthispre-engagementperiod.EngagementTypesTheengagementtypesvarybasedonthemagnitudeofthefuturestatec
3、hangeandtherelatedlevelofeffort.Thethreetypesarecalled:•TacticalDesign•StrategicDesign•TransformationalDesignThetablebelowprofilestheengagementtypes.Theseparameterswillhelpthepractitionerunderstandthebasicdifferencesbetweentheengagementtypes.Thistableisnotintendedtobeusedasanest
