2、doptimization.Inresolutionofthisproblemwithvarioustasksinorder,theproposed7tasks(Tasks1-4and6-8[5-7])arefullyfinishedstepwisethroughdevelopingsomemodelsandanalyzingdifferentresults.Inthispaper,severalvaluableresultswereobtainedillustratedlyanddemonstratedbriefly.Intask3averyvaluableandwide

3、lyapplicableconclusionaremadeasfollows:Inordertoschedulethedepartureofflights,aprojectworthytobeextendedistokeepthesamepassengersinthedepartinggroupduringapeakhourandforthedepartureintervalof1h.ThisisalreadyverifiedinourModelofTwoScheduledFligh.Inthatcase,notonlythenumberofEDSscanbereduced

4、quitemuchbutalsotheSROindexcanbeincreasedinafaircontentthroughadjustmentofsecurity-screeningrules.Itissuggestedthatdifferentsecurity-screeningrulesshouldbedesignedforthedifferentsituationsparticularlyfordifferentcheckingperiods.Forsolvingthenovelproblemsappearedintask7,onearththeoptimalcom

5、binationwherehowmanybagsshouldbecheckedbyeitherEDS-screeningorETD-screening.Firstly,thethirdproject(80%EDS/20%ETD)shouldcomprehensivelytoworthybeingpriortobeemployedamongtheproposedfourprojects.Finallythroughcomparisonstudiesitisfoundthatabout58%bagsshouldbecheckedbyEDS-screeningwhilethere
