6、asictraining.IspentayearintheArmyandwhenIgotoutIwenttoSyracuseUniversityontheGIBill.Idon’tthinkIwouldhavebeenabletogotocollegeifithadn’tbeenfortheGIBill.TheHBSExperienceIthinkthebiggestroleHBSplayedwasininterpersonalactivities.Igottomeetsomepeoplewhowereveryb
7、right.Ihadn’tmetthosekindofpeoplebefore,andIinteractedwiththem.ImetFayezSarofim,andwehadagreatbusinessrelationshipaswellaspersonalrelationshipformanyyears.ThatwasreallythebigcontributionHarvardmadetomylife—therelationshipsandteachingmehowtogetalongwithallkind
