3、pretandcriticizethepost—modemhistoriographyofHaydenWhite，weshouldfirstunderstandtheoriginsoftheWhite’Sconceptwhichderivesfromhisinterestsinthedisciplinenatureof“history”．Whiterealizesthatsomesimilaritiesbetweenhistoryandliteratureandintegratesthemtostudywhichformsanunprecedentedinterd

4、isciplinaryresearchinhistoriography．Itbridgesthegapbetweenhistoryandliteraturewhichhasbeennormallyconsideredaninsurmountabledisciplineboundary．ThecontextoftheWhite’Spost—modemhistoriography,suchashistoryphilosophyandtheendofthegrantnarrative，isreviewedinthedissertation．Forthesakeofund
