5、fEnglishfilmtitlesfromtheperspectiveofGermanfunctionaltranslationtheory．First，thethesisbrieflypresentstheresearchbackground，theobjectives，thesignificance，andthestructureofthisstudybeforeitreviewspresentstudiesoftranslationofEnglishfilmtitlesinChinaandoverviewsthefunctionaltransla

6、tiontheory(FTT)．Next，thethesisdiscussesthenamingmethods，maincharacteristics，andmajorfunctionsofEnglishfilmtitles．Then，thethesisprovesorverifiesthefeasibilityofapplicationofFTTtotranslationofEnglishfilmtitles(Oscarfilmtides)，concentratingupontheeffectivenessofapplicationofsuchmajo
