4、ckandMODS.So,CLPmodelWaschoicedinOurstudy.Short—chainfattyacid(SCFA),whichincludebutyrate,propionateandacetate,areorganicacidsproducedfromanaerobicbacteriafermentationofdietaryfiberinintestinallumen.ThemostimportantSCFAproducedisbutyratethathavemanyfunctionsaffectingguthealth.Butyratepr

5、omotestheabsorptionofsodiumandwater,providesenterocyteswitllenergyimmediately,enhancesintestinalepithelialbarrierfunction.Sincethensomeresearchesindicatethatbutyrateadministrationpreventeddamagetothelung,liverandkidneyduringsepsis.Butyrateinlumenmayprotectagainstintestinalinjuryinsepsis
