4、redwithstudiesonthetranslationofthenarrationinthisnovelandtheculturalinformationinvariousaspectsindailylife,studiesonthetranslationofitspoetryaretobefurtherdeepened.Inthisthesis,theauthorwouldviewtheEnglishtranslationofthepoetryinthisnovelfromthereproductionofthewriter’sintentionsandt
5、heconveyanceof“ThreeBeauties”.Bystudyingthetranslationofthesepoems,wemayseethenecessityandpossibilityofthetranslationofthepoetryinthisnovel.Theprincipleofthe“ThreeBeauties”whichisaguidetothetranslationandcriticismofpoetryrefersto“beautyinsense,beautyinsoundandbeautyinform”.Ithasbeenpu
6、tforwardagainbyProfessorXuYuanchongbasedonhispredecessors’researchandhisownpractice.Itmeansthatthetranslatorofpoetryshouldendeavortomakehis/herversionfaithfultotheoriginal.Buthe/sheshouldnotstopjusthere:fromthispointthetranslatormustcontinuehis/herefforttobringouttheoriginalbeautiesin
