1、高校网页英译述评　　　　2．高校自身宣传的需要。高校网页英文版的主要功能就是介绍宣传自己从而为读者提供信息服务。有相当一部分高校善于利用英文网页将自己的亮点传播到世界的各个地方。在武汉大学的网页上就有一个有别于其他的专门介绍动物标本博物馆的专栏。北京医科大学则集中介绍中国传统和特色的民间医术——气功激起了留学生及国外友人浓厚的兴趣。因为特色是一个大学的灵魂，也是高校网页高质量与充沛活力的基础。各个高校如果充分利用英文网页介绍宣传自己，还有助于加强与国外高校和社会团体及企业的产、学、研的联系，会在招收留学生方面有很大的优势。　　　　二、高
