3、oducedjournalwritingintomysyllabusyearsago.Thestudywasconductedacrossonesemester,intheyear2012.Acknowledgingconveniencesampling,the31subjectswhoparticipatedinthisstudywerestudentsfromtheEnglishDepartmentoftheLanguagesCulturesandCommunicationFaculty.Journalswerecol
4、lectedatregularintervalsandsubjectedtoamodifiedcontentanalysis(Fraenkel&Wallen,2003)toidentifythemainthemesrelatedtolearnerautonomyandstudentexperiences.Semi-structuredinterviewswithvolunteerswereundertakentosubstantiatetheessentialfindingsofthecontentanalysis.Key
