3、thingmoremanifestthanwhatisminute.Thereforethesuperiormaniswatchfuloverhimself,whenheisalone.Whiletherearenostirringsofpleasure,anger,sorrow,orjoy,themindmaybesaidtobeinthestateofEquilibrium.Whenthosefeelingshavebeenstirred,andtheyactintheirduedegree,thereensueswhatmaybecalledthestateofHa

4、rmony.ThisEquilibriumisthegreatrootfromwhichgrowallthehumanactingsintheworld,andthisHarmonyistheuniversalpathwhichtheyallshouldpursue.Letthestatesofequilibriumandharmonyexistinperfection,andahappyorderwillprevailthroughoutheavenandearth,andallthingswillbenourishedandflourish.2.仲尼曰,「君子中庸;
