1、SpecialCallforProposalsLinkingHRCompetencetoKeyPerformanceIndicators:ACriterionValidationProgramTheSHRMFoundationisseekingproposalsforcriterionvalidationresearchintherealmofHRcompetencies.ThistopicisamajorpriorityontheFoundation’sresearchagenda.Since2010,SHRMhasbeenworkingtodevelo
2、pacompetencymodelforthehumanresourcemanagementprofessional.Todevelopthiscomprehensivemodel,SHRMestablishedtheHRThoughtLeadershipInitiative.Theinitiative’sobjectivewastoidentifythekeycompetenciesneededbyallHRprofessionalsregardlessofenterpriseandrole.Thiswouldserveastheguidingprinc
3、ipleforthedevelopmentoftheElementsforHRSuccesscompetencymodel.Todevelopthismodel,SHRMresearchersrevieweddifferentcompetencymodels,conductedoveronehundredfocusgroupswithover1,200HRprofessionalsacross29citiesaroundtheworld,andsurveyed640ChiefHumanResourceOfficers.Thecontentoftheresu
