2、4/EECandDirectives96/73/ECand2008/121/ECoftheEuropeanParliamentandoftheCouncil(TextwithEEArelevance)THEEUROPEANPARLIAMENTANDTHECOUNCILOFTHEtimes.Sincefurtheramendmentsaretobemade,thoseEUROPEANUNION,actsshouldbereplacedbyasinglelegalinstrument,intheinterestofclarity.Havingregard

3、totheTreatyontheFunctioningoftheEuropeanUnion,andinparticularArticle114thereof,(2)ThelegalactsoftheUnionontextilefibrenamesandrelatedlabellingandmarkingoffibrecompositionoftextileproductsareverytechnicalintheircontent,withdetailedprovisionsthatneedtobeadaptedregularly.InHavingr

4、egardtotheproposalfromtheEuropeanCommission,ordertoavoidtheneedforMemberStatestotransposethetechnicalamendmentsintonationallegislationandthusreducetheadministrativeburdenfornationalauthoritiesandinordertoallowforafasteradoptionHavingregardtotheopinionoftheEuropeanEconomicandofn

5、ewtextilefibrenamestobeusedsimultaneouslySocialCommittee(1),throughouttheUnion,aregulationseemstobethemostappropriatelegalinstrumenttocarryoutthelegislativesimplification.Actinginaccordancewiththeordinarylegislativeprocedure(2),(3)Inordertoeliminatepotentialobstaclestotheproper

6、functioningoftheinternalmarketcausedbyMemberWhereas:States'divergingprovisionswithregardtotextilefibrenamesandrelatedlabellingandmarkingoffibrecompositionoftextileproducts,itisnecessarytoharmonisethenamesoftextilefibresandtheindications(1)CouncilDirective73/44/EECof26February19
