3、irementsforsuchtype-approval.HavingregardtotheTreatyontheFunctioningoftheEuropeanUnion,(5)ThemeasuresprovidedforinthisRegulationareinaccordancewiththeopinionoftheTechnicalHavingregardtoRegulation(EC)No661/2009oftheEuropeanCommittee–MotorVehicles,ParliamentandoftheCouncilof13July2009con

4、cerningtype-approvalrequirementsforthegeneralsafetyofmotorvehicles,theirtrailersandsystems,componentsandseparatetechnicalHASADOPTEDTHISREGULATION:unitsintendedtherefor(1),andinparticularArticle14(1)(a)thereof,Article1ScopeWhereas:ThisRegulationappliestomotorvehiclesofcategoryM1,asdefin

5、edinAnnexIItoDirective2007/46/EC,whicharefitted(1)Regulation(EC)No661/2009isaseparateRegulationwithawindscreen,aswellastowindscreenwashersystemsforthepurposesofthetype-approvalprocedureprovidedintendedforfitmenttomotorvehiclesofcategoryM1.forbyDirective2007/46/ECoftheEuropeanParliament

6、andoftheCouncilof5September2007establishingaframeworkfortheapprovalofmotorvehiclesandtheirArticle2trailers,andofsystems,componentsandseparateDefinitionstechnicalunitsintendedforsuchvehicles(FrameworkDirective)(2).ForthepurposesofthisRegulation,thefollowingdefinitionsshallapply:(2)Regul
