3、,tasktypeandtask-basedinstructionaldesign,hopingtobringtheworkofEnglishteachersinanumberoffront-lineteachingrevelation.Task-basedteachingproducedinthe1980s,isanexampleofthetheoryandpracticeofclassroomteachingwhichadvocated‘learningbydoing’and‘learner-centered’,emphasizingthemean
4、ingoftheexpression,isateacherbycompletingagiventaskto8achievelanguagelearningteachingmethods.ThisarticleisbasedonNunanandWillistask-basedteachingandresearchpointofview.First,thedefinitionoftask-basedteachingTask-basedteachingisnottheonlydefinitionofafixed,researchershaveintertwi
5、nedbutnotexactlythesamedefinition,butitcoversmostofthesamemeaning.Becauseofthedifferentangles,differentdefinitionsavailableherethatthemostinfluentialthedefinitionoftwoscholars.Nunan(1989)that‘thetaskisaclassroomactivity,aimedatguidingstudentstoparticipateinthetargetlanguageunder
6、standing,operation,outputandusethetargetlanguagecommunication,itsmainfocusisthesignificanceofcommunicationratherthanlanguageformitself.‘BritishlinguistJaneWillis(1996)thetaskisdefinedas:’Thereareclearobjectivesdesignedtoachievespecificgoalsintheclassroomcommunicativeactivities.‘
