4、beralismcan’ttakeitsownsideinanargument.Eitherway,liberalismappearsself-contradictoryandincoherent.Itmusteitherbetrayitsprinciplesorbetrayitself(andtherebybetrayitsprinciples).Liberalismbothappearstobepossible—we’veseenitdone—andimpossible(itcan’tbe done).Thatis,inbrief,theparadoxoflibe
