3、icationsofthisapproachinMalaysianandBangaloreProjectswereshortlived,buttheroleoftasksreceivedfurthersupportfromresearchofSLA,withoutmuchevidenceofsuccessingrammar-focusedteachingactivities.Engaginglearnersintaskworkprovidesabettercontextfortheactivationoflearningprocessesthanform-f

4、ocusedactivities,andhenceultimatelyprovidesbetteropportunitiesforLLtotakeplaceLLisbelievedtodependonimmersingssnotmerelyin“comprehensibleinput”butintasksthatrequirethemtonegotiatemeaningandengageinnaturalisticandmeaningfulcommunication.BecauseofitslinkstoCLTmethodologyandsupportfro
