1、动词-ing形式作状语要点点击动词-ing形式在句中可以用作状语修饰谓语动词或整个句子,表示时间、原因、条件、结果、让步或伴随状况等。在使用中,我们应注意以下几方面的问题:一、动词-ing形式在时态方面有一般式和完成式之分,在语态方面则有主动式和被动式之别。见下表:主动式被动式一般式doingbeingdone完成式havingdonehavingbeendone在使用动词-ing形式时,必须注意如下几点:1.beingdone所表示的动作正在进行且表示被动意义,它在句中主要用作定语。如:Theproblembeingdisc
2、ussedatthemeetingisveryimportant.2.动词-ing形式的完成式主要用作状语,强调动作发生在谓语动词所表示的动作之前。主动式表示主动意义,其逻辑主语是句子的主语;被动式表示被动意义,其逻辑宾语是句子的主语。如:1)Havingfinishedhishomework,hewentouttoplaywiththeotherchildren.2)Havingbeenkeptinprisonforsomanyyears,hewasnotusedtotheoutsideworld.二、注意下面这些固定搭配,
3、它们在句中通常用作状语。如:judgingfrom…(由……判断)、considering…(考虑到……)、speakingof…(说到……)、supposing…(假如……)等。如:1)Judgingfromhisaccent,hemustbefromCanada.2)Supposinghecan’tcome,whowilldothework?三、动词-ing形式作状语时,在ing形式与主句之间不能再使用任何连词连接。如:Standingonthehill,andyouwillseemuchfarther.(误)Standi
4、ngonthehill,youwillseemuchfarther.(正)四、使用动词-ing形式作状语时,该动词-ing形式必须同句子的主语存在逻辑上的主谓关系或动宾关系,否则就不能使用动词-ing形式在句中作状语,而要用一个从句或是独立主格结构。如:Beinghot,weallwentswimmingattheseaside.(误)Asitwashot,weallwentswimmingattheseaside.(正)五、动词-ing形式的否定式是在-ing形式的前面加not。如:Nothavingreceivedhisr
