3、ndtogainmoreexperience．Methods：WeretrievedarticlesfromJanuary1994toSeptember2008inChineseMedicalCurrentContent(CBM)andNationalKnowledgeInfrastructure(cN-Y~)．Meta—analysiswasperformedontheresultsofhomogeneousstudies．Allcalculationsforthecurrentmeta．analysiswereperformedusingREVIEWMANAGER

4、4．2．Results：Therewere150reportedcasesofdeathsafterTACE，amongwhichhepaticfailure，uppergastrointestinalbleedingandrupturedlivercancerwithhemorrhageoccurredin84％ofcases，and78．7％survivedlessthanonemonthafteroperation．Conclusion：TheprimaryetiologyofdeathfollowingTACEisacuteliverfailure，upper
