4、PRCV)orTGEVexposurewasassessedinpigsthatwerechallengedwithTGEV24daysafteraprimaryoronasalinoculationwithPRCVorTGEVwhen11daysold.PRCVexposureinducedpartialprotec-tionagainstTGEVchallengeinsucklingpigsbaseduponadecreasednumberofdiarrheacases(42%vs.90%inage-ma
5、tchedcontrolpigs),limitedvirussheddinginfeces,andincreasesinvirus-neutralizingserumantibodytiters;incontrast,all11-day-oldpigsinoculatedwithTGEVwerecompletelyprotectedafterchallenge.Weanedpigswerealsostudiedtoeliminateanypossibilitythatlactogenicimmunityfro
