4、plantationregardingfunctionaloutcomeandsideeffectsofDepartmentofNeurosurgery,transplants.CollegeofMedicine,UniversityofSouthFlorida,METHODS:Greenfluorescentprotein-positivemesencephalicneuroepithelialstemTampa,Floridacellsweredissectedfromearlyratembryosandtransplantedintonormal
5、(n20)andParkinsonsdisease(PD)ratmodelstriata(n30).ThedifferentiationpatternofMotoyukiYamada,M.D.graftedcellswaspreciselymonitoredimmunohistochemically,andthefunctionalDepartmentofNeurosurgery,Tokyo-KitaSocialInsuranceHospital,effectsofgraftedcellsonbehaviorwereassessedusingana
6、mphetamine-inducedTokyo,Japanrotationtest.RESULTS:ThegraftedcellssurvivedinbothnormalandPDratstriataanddifferenti-HideyukiOkano,M.D.,Ph.D.atedintotyrosinehydroxylase-positivecells.In8-week-oldgrafts,thenumberoftyro-DepartmentofPhysiology,sinehydroxylase-positivecellswas3-foldhig
