2、BSTRACTTheantibacterialactivityandmedicinalpropertiesofgingerextractswerestudied.Gingerextractswereobtainedusingsolvents,n-hexane,ethylacetate,ethanolicsoxhletandwater.Theextractswereassayedforantibacterialactivityandbacterialgrowthinhibitionactivity.Theresultsshowedthatalltheextractse
3、xceptthewaterextracthaveantibacterialactivityandthattheinhibitionofbacterialgrowthwasdosedependent.Theresultsalsoshowedthatgingerextractspossessesantibacterialpropertiesandcouldbeusedforthetreatmentofbacterialinfections.KEYWORDS:Ginger,Antibacterialactivity,inhibitionofbacterialgrowth,
