Byinformationtechnologyinforeignlanguageteachingapplication(Abstract)Alongwithinformationtechnologydevelopment,multi-mediacomputertechnologyandnetworktobewidelyusedinforeignlanguageteaching,haschangedthetraditionalpatternofforeignlanguageteaching.Modernforeignlanguageteachingtoraisethelevelofforeignlanguageteachinginordertotrainhigh-qualityforeigntalenttomeetthegrowingneedsofthesociety.（Keywords）Informationtechnology;Multi-mediatechnology;Network;ForeignlanguageteachingWiththeintegrationintotheworldeconomytospeedupthefile,Chinawillfurtherexpandtheopeningtotheoutsideworld.Inparticular,halfofChina'saccessiontoWTO,thesocio-economicactivitieswillbemoreandmoreintolinewiththeinternationalsocietywillneedmoreforeignlanguageprofessionalsinforeignlanguagesandothertypesofhigh-qualityprofessionals.Thisisourforeignlanguageeducators,theincreasedresponsibilityontheshoulders.Howtoeffectivelyraisethelevelofforeignlanguageteaching,moreandbettertransportationforthecountry'sforeignlanguageprofessionals,wearefacingisanimportantissue.Themainpurposeofforeignlanguageteachingistotrainstudentsinlistening,speaking,reading,writingandtheabilitytoemphasizethedevelopmentofthelearnerstostudytheinitiativeandtheabilitytouselanguage,multi-anglemulti-dimensionalwayofthinking,soastoenhancethelevelofforeignlanguagelearners.Foreignlanguageteachingmoreandmoreattentiontotrainingstudentstouselanguagecommunication.Foreignlanguagestoachievethepurposeofcommunication,itisnecessarytorelyonacertainlanguageenvironment.Asaresult,createafavorableenvironmentforforeignlanguagecommunication,toprovideasmanylanguagesaspossibletheopportunitytopractice,istotrainstudentsinlanguagecommunicationabilityofthemostimportanttask.Thetraditionalforeignlanguageteachingintheformofthemainteacher-centered,teacherlectures,vocabulary,grammar,doexercises,theanswertooneofitsteachingmethods,boring,teachersalwaysdominant;teachingandlearningenvironmentofasingle,closed,confinedtothechalk,blackboards,Materials,thuslimitingstudententhusiasmandcreativity,butalsorestrainedthestudentstolearnthelanguagefunandentertaining."Tim-duck"modeofteachingistoimpartknowledgeandunderstandingofpassivestudents,digestionandabsorption.Trainstudentsnotonlylackofindependence,autonomy,anditsdivergentthinking,andthinkingarelimited.Withtheinformationtechnologyera,anewforeignlanguageteaching.Theso-calledinformationtechnology,basedoncomputertechnology,communicationtechnology,micro-electronicstechnologybasedonanemerginghigh-tech.Broadlyspeaking,informationtechnology,humandata,language,text,sound,pictures,videoandotherinformationcollection,processing,storage,transmissionandretrievalof experience,knowledgeandthemeanstothesumofthetool,ithasasuper-speed,networking,information,digital,intelligentandmulti-mediaandsoon.Withtheglobalizationoftheworldeconomyandthedevelopmentofmoderninformationtechnology,thetraditionalforeignlanguageteachingmethodscannotmeettheneedsofsociety.Inthestudyofmoderninformationtechnology,environment,foreignlanguageteachingmethods,themajorityofforeign-languageteachersarefacinganewtopic.Thecoreofwhichishowtheforeignlanguageteachinginaspecificapplicationofmultimediacomputertechnologyandnetwork-assistedforeignlanguageteaching.1Multi-mediateachinginforeignlanguageteachingintheapplicationofthefeaturesandfunctionsMulti-mediatechnologyisbasedonthecharacteristicsofthehumanexchangeofinformation,graphics,text,sound,imagesandotherinformationinonecomprehensivearrangementfordealingwithtechnology.Theuseofmulti-mediaexpressions,themaincontentsofteachingmaterials,data,suchastheexampledisplayedonthescreen,toadviseteachersonteaching.111Multi-mediaforeignlanguageteachingaidstoenrichthecontentofclassroomteachingMulti-mediateachingsoftwarecanprovidematerialinmanylanguages,withtheaidofdiagrams,movement,soundsituationwhere,andaudio-visual,fullofinformationsuchastheexpressionofforeignlanguageteachingtoproviderealisticperformanceresults,teacherscanchooseaccordingtothepurposeofteachinganumberofmulti-mediateachingsoftware,ortoproducetheirownmultimediacourseOrdownloadfromthesoftwarelibrary,theuseofhyperlinkstofeaturethevoices,images,clipart,suchaslinkstothepresentation,providedthegraphics,soundandlanguageinterfaceandthewindowsothatstudentsflexibilitytostudyandcontroloftheoperation,Asthesoftware-asameansofpresentation,listening,speakingasone,theteachingprocessappearstobealivelyandatthesametimegreatlyenhancetheeffectivenessofteaching.112Multimediaassistanceforeignlanguageteachingcanenhancestudent'sstudyinterest,isadvantageousinarousestheenthusiasmwhichthestudentstudies,foundsthepositiveclassroomenvironmentTheinterestisbestteacher,onlythenstimulatesthestudentstrongstudyinterest,causesthestudenttoparticipateinpositivelythelearningactivity,canguaranteestudent'sinstudymainbodystatus,achievedthestudentdevelopsgoal.Multimediahasprovidedtheextremelyadvantageousphysicalconditionsfortheforeignlanguageteaching.Itbothretainedthecomputerinteractivecharacteristic,andhastheseeingandhearingequipmenttopresenttheimageandthesoundsuperiorityperfectly,hastheextraordinaryexpressiveforce,richcontent,diverseform,vividimage.113Multimediaassistanceforeignlanguageteachingisadvantageousindevelopsstudent'spowerofthought,theenhancementrememberedthat,isadvantageousinthe
