1、摘要随着网络、手机等新媒体的出现，媒介竞争日趋激烈。地市报处于我国“三级办报”报业架构的最末端，深受新兴媒体及其他强势媒体的双重夹击，生存空间受到严重挤压。如何在夹缝中生存，并能不断的发展壮大，这是摆在学者及经营者面前一个必须立即解决的问题。《广州日报》作为中国发行量最大的地市报，也是最成功的地市报，它的发展历程对其他相对弱势的地市报无疑具有借鉴作用。为了生存发展，《广州日报》在充分了解市场的情况下，把打造个性报纸，追求地方特色作为自己竞争的王牌。在业务上，《广州日报》在报纸新闻标题的制作、报道内容及报道尺度等方面积极寻求与本地受众之间的连接点，以本地化元素充实新闻，大量方言、俗语的应用也极
