4、ccessAbstractAtotalof250collegestudentsand230highervocationalcollegestudentswereinvestigatedbyusingtheGeneralSelf-EfficacyScale(GSES)revisedbyWangCaikangetal.Thedifferencesofself-efficacyamongdifferenttypesofstudentsinordinaryinstitutionsofhigherlearni
5、ngandthedifferencesofself-efficacyamongdifferenttypesofstudentsinhighervocationalcolleges.There-sultsshowedthattheaveragescoreofself-efficacywas32.55,whichwashigherthanthatofthenationalaverage,andtherewasnosignificantdifference.Therewerenosignificantdi
6、fferencesinthelevelofself-efficacyamonghighervocationalcollegestudentswithdifferentgender,differentgrades,differentpart-timepositions,differentclassesanddifferentscholarships.Thelevelofstu-dents’self-efficacywashigherinthestudents’singletonchildrenandw
7、hethertheyparticipatedincommunityactivities.Thereweresignificantdifferencesinstudents’self-efficacylevelamongthecollegestudents.Thisstudyprovidesconstructivesuggestionsonthefactorsthataffectstudents’self-efficacy,andprovidesfeasiblesuggestionsforthedev
