6、mportantroleinEnglishstudyandtakesalargeproportionindailyexaminationsinjuniorhighschools.However,readingfluency,whichisasignificantindicatorofcheckingreadinglevels,attractslessattentionfromresearchersandteachers,especiallyinL2orFLsettings.Ithasgreateffectsonstudents

7、’developmentofreadingability.BesidesEnglishlanguageknowledge,thereareothernumerousfactorsinfluencingtheimprovementofreadingfluency.Readingstrategyisoneofthem.ReadingstrategiesareadvocatedhighlyintheEnglishCurriculumStandards(2011).Itproposesthatstudentsshouldbeablet

8、ousereadingstrategieseasilyandflexiblytocultivatetheirownself-learningability.Therefore,thisstudyfocusesontheeffectsofreadingstrategyonEng
