3、aterialsfocusonthereadingachievementsofstudents.Teachersandstudentspayalotofefforts,butfailtogetthebetterreturns.ThesurveysfindthattheEnglishreadingabilityofseniorhighschoolstudentsisstillweak,andtheEnglishreadingperformanceincollegeentranceexaminationisnotdesirable.Withtheesta

4、blishmentoflearner-centeredteachingideas,thelearners’self-efficacyandthelearningstrategiesuseareconsideredtobetwomainfactorsthatplayanimportantroleintheprocessofforeignlanguagelearning.Studieshaveshownthatlearners’self-efficacyinfluencesthechoiceoflearningstrategies.Atpresent,t

5、heresearchershavecarriedoutrelatedresearchesontheuseofself-efficacyandreadingstrategies.However,therearefewstudiesonthecorrelationamongself-efficacy,Englishreadingstrategiesandreadingachievements,especiallyforseniorhighschoolstudents.Theparticipantsofthisresearcharethe151senior

6、studentsofGrade2fromZhangbeiNO.1seniorhighschool.Thepurposeofthestudyistoknowmoreaboutthelevelofseniorhighschoolstudents’self-efficacy,thesituationofEnglishreadingstrategyuseandreadingachievements,especiallytoexploretherelationshipamongthethreevariables(seniorhighschoolstudents
