2、University,Guangzhou510630,China)Abstract:TheconceptofStakeholderoriginatesfrommanagementliterature,whichisdefinedasanygrouporindividualwhocanaffect,orisaffectedby,theachievementofacorporation'spurpose.Since1970sand1980s,becauseoftheenvironmentalpressureandnegativesocialinfluenceledbytourismac
3、tivities,moreandmoreforeignscholarshavepaidattentiontotheissueoftourismstakeholder.Theyregardthestakeholdertheoryasanidealapproachtomaintainthebalancebetweentourismactivityandsocial,environmentalconcerns.Now,tourismstakeholderhasbecomeahottopicintourismresearchareainforeigncountries.Basedoncol
4、lectingandanalyzingplentifulliteratures,thispapergivesasystematicalreviewoftheresearchontourismstakeholdersabroad,andpointsoutthattheresultshavebeenincreasingyearafteryear.Themajorresultsaremainlyconcentratedonthefollowingfourareas:firstly,definitionandcategoriesoftourismstakeholders.Secondly,
5、stakeholdersconcernedwithtourismplanningandmanagement.Thirdly,stakeholdersconcernedwithtourismenvironmentalethic.Fourthly,communitytourismandstakeholders'coordination.Althoughtheresearchoftourismstakeholderabroadhasnotbeensosystematizedyet,richfruitshaveappearedandempiricalanalysisisthemainmet
6、hodusedbyforeignresearchers.Comparatively,inChina,theconceptoftourismstakeholderwasnotintroducedtilltheendofthe20thcentury.Theresearchershavebeenshowinggreatinterestsinapplyingthestakeholdertheorytotourismplanningandmanagement.Totallyspeaking,therelativeresearchinChinaisweaker,normativeanalysi
7、smethodisusedmainly.Thelightsofresearchabroadwhichcanbethrownondomesticresearcharediscussedattheendofthepaperinordertopromotetheprogressofcorrelativeresearchinourcountry.Fouraspectscanbeexploredinthefuture:firstly,furtherclassificationo
