3、icadviceonallaspectsofMoDactivityandscrutinisesallmajorspendingproposals.HehasworkedpreviouslyasaneconomistintheEmploymentDepartmentandHealthandSafetyExecutiveandpublishedvariousstudiesontheeconomicsofoccupationalsafety.KeithHartleyisProfessorofDefenceEconomicsandDirectoroftheCentref

4、orDefenceEconomicsattheUniversityofYork.HeismanagingeditorofthejournalDefenceandPeaceEconomics,andsecretary-generaloftheInternationalDefenceEconomicsAssociation.HehasbeenaconsultanttotheUN,theEuropeanCommission,theUSDepartmentofDefenseandtheUKMinistryofDefence.Hehaswrittenorco-author
