4、),canbeusedto‘fosterbetterrelationsbetweenallethnicgroupsbyarousingpupils’awarenessoftheoriginsandcharacteristicsoftheirownlanguageanddialectandtheirplaceinthewidermap5oflanguagesanddialectsusedintheworldbeyond.’(p.8;citedinJames&Garrett,1998,p.13).ToquoteJames&Garrett(1998),theaimsofo
