4、abulary,whichwecanselectfromfreelywhenwewishtoexpressourthoughts.Forstudents,masteringacertainnumberofvocabulariesisthekeytolearningEnglish.Aseveryoneknows,thegreatervocabularyonemasters,thestrongerskillinapplyinglanguagehe/shewillhave.ButtoourChinesestudents,thevocabularylearningisagr
5、eatdifficultyinEnglishlearning.Whatismore,manyofthestudentsalwaysconsiderthat“vocabularylearning”istorecitethewordswhichareappearedinthetext.Theythinkthatiftheycanrememberallthosewords,theywillfinishtheirvocabularylearning.Asamatteroffact,theirvocabularylearningstillstaysinthecombinati
6、onof“pronunciation,spellingandmeaning”,andalmostalltheirtimeandenergyareusedinthesethreeparts.Thiswillbringfailurestotheminlearningandcommunication.Thus,theteacher’svocabularyteachingbecomesespeciallyimportant.C.PurposeofteachingvocabularyThepurposeofteachingvocabularyistomakethestuden
