4、uchaslistening,speaking,reading,writingandtranslationiftherehasnovocabulary.Weneedtohaveastoreofvocabulary,whichwecanselectfromfreelywhenwewishtoexpressourthoughts.Forstudents,masteringacertainnumberofvocabulariesisthekeytolearningEnglish.Aseveryoneknow
5、s,thegreatervocabularyonemasters,thestrongerskillinapplyinglanguagehe/shewillhave.ButtoourChinesestudents,thevocabularylearningisagreatdifficultyinEnglishlearning.Whatismore,manyofthestudentsalwaysconsiderthat“vocabularylearning”istorecitethewordswhicha
6、reappearedinthetext.Theythinkthatiftheycanrememberallthosewords,theywillfinishtheirvocabularylearning.Asamatteroffact,theirvocabularylearningstillstaysinthecombinationof“pronunciation,spellingandmeaning”,andalmostalltheirtimeandenergyareusedinthesethree
7、parts.Thiswillbringfailurestotheminlearningandcommunication.Thus,theteacher’svocabularyteachingbecomesespeciallyimportant.C.PurposeofteachingvocabularyThepurposeofteachingvocabularyistomakethestudentsmasterthevocabulary,usethevocabularyfreelyandlaytheba
