3、repeoplewhohavewealthyspecialtyknowledge,higheraccomplishmentofinformationandhigherEnglishlevel.Amongthem,oralEnglishisveryimportant.ButthepresentEnglishteachinginmiddleschoolsisfarawayfromrealizingthisgoal.InChina,mostmiddleschoolstudentshavepoororalcomm
4、unicativeability.“DumbEnglish”isperplexingmostEnglishteachersandstudentsofhighschool.Apartfromtheproblemsteachershave,theenvironmentisalsoanimportantproblem,becauseoftheunawarenessoftheimportanceofspeaking,studentsdon’thaveenoughchancestopracticetheiroral
5、English.ThelackofatmosphereisthemostimportantreasonoftheirpoororalEnglish.Aseveryoneknows,“Practicemakesperfect!”Withoutpractice,howcantheybecomeperfect?Becauseofthat,studentsdon’thavethehabitofspeaking.Whentheyareacquiredtospeak,manyproblemsappear,suchas
6、:theirhandsandfeetaretrembling,thetuneoftheirvoiceischanging,thesentencesareindisorder.Manyofthemjustreciteinsteadofspeak.studentsthemselvesareblamefortheirpoororalEnglish.BecauseoftheactualitiesofChineseteaching,therequirementsoforalEnglisharemuchlesstha
7、ngrammar,listening,readingandwriting.Somanystudentsdon’tpayenoughattentiontoit.Forexample,whenstudentsareaskedofthefourskills---listening,speaking,16readingandwriting,whichoneisthemostimportant,manywillchoosereadingandgrammarwithoutanyhesitation.Fewstuden
