4、Ⅱ,theauthormainlyanalyzesthephnomenonaoftheapplicationofforeignalizationanddemesticationtoChinesepressneologismsanditsdevelopments.InpartⅢ,fivespecificmethodsoftranslatingtheChinesepressneologismsaresuggested,andtheauthorgivesmanyexamplestoexplainthemrespectively,thesemethodsareb

6、msisahardjob.However,itisbelievedthataslongasthetranslatorsdeveloptheirprofessionalknowledgeandraisetheirtranslationlevelconstantly,thetranslationwillbecomearelativelyeasywork.KEYWORDS:Chinesepressneologisms,principles,mainmethods摘要汉语新词是中国英语研究中相当重要的一部分。而汉语报刊新词是在报刊中表达中国文化中的特有事物，其中
7、蕴藏着中国千百年文化的内涵，当中国的文化传出中国走向世界的时候，这些汉语新词又是怎样不失原味的被翻译成外语从而被外国人所接受的呢?本论文包括三部分。在第一部分作者简要介绍同化与异化的理论及其发展。第二部分将介绍汉语新词在报刊中翻译的同化与异化现象及其发展。第三部分主要讨论同化与异化在汉语报刊新词翻译中的策略及方法的运用，并且针对每一种方法作者分别举出一些例子来解释它们。不同的情况中译者可以采取不同的译法来翻译，进而能够得出好的译文。在此篇论文最后，作者指出汉语报刊新词翻译是一项艰巨的工作。然而，作者认为只要译者能够不断培养专业知识、提高自身的翻译水平，翻
