1、跨文化视角下动物词汇的内涵与翻译ACross-culturalStudyontheConnotationandTranslationofAnimalWords内容摘要漫长的人类发展史上，人类与动物频繁接触，人与动物之间产生互相依赖的关系。动物的形象在我们日常生活中留下烙印，形成各种独特的动物文化。因此，大量含有动物形象的词，习语，熟语等进入英，汉语。在日常交际或文学作品中，动物词汇的灵活运用并不少见，这使得英，汉语的描写更生动，用词更精练，色彩更丰富。然而由于地理环境，风俗习惯，宗教等因素的不同，一些动物词汇在
2、英，汉语中有着完全不同甚至相反的象征意义与文化内涵。各类文化障碍总是存在跨文化翻译过程中。因此，在跨文化翻译中，保留原文的动物形象及其文化内涵，用译文中具有相同象征意义及文化内涵的另一种动物形象代替，这是实现成功翻译必须考虑的关键问题之一。本论文收集了一些英，汉动物词汇，并分析两种文化的差异，论文也介绍了准确表达原文动物词汇内涵的翻译方法。关键词：动物词汇，跨文化，翻译AbstractThroughoutthehistoryofthesocialevolution,mancomesintocontactwith

4、dChineselanguages.Thecleveruseofanimalwordsisbynomeansscareineverydaycommunicationorliteraryworks,whichhelpsmakeEnglishandChinesevividandlivelyinimage,plainandexpressiveincharacter,andrichandstronginflavor.However,differentnationsdonottreatalltheanimalwordsi
5、nthesamewayduetothedifferentgeographicalenvironment,customsandhabits,religion,etc.Somanyanimalwordsmayhavetotallydifferentorevenoppositeculturalobstacles,alwayslieinwaitduringthecourseoftranslatingfromonecultureintoanother.Sointhecross-culturaltranslation,to
