4、theseerrorsandputforwardsomesuggestionsforimprovingqualityoftranslationteachingandtheideaofenablingstudentsenjoytheprocessoftranslation.Keywords:translation;errorsanalysis;translationteaching;suggestions摘要为了指导学生认识自己翻译不足，帮助翻译教师发现主要问题，从而提高英语本科翻译教学质量，本文以武

5、汉工程大学外语学院英语专业二年级学生为对象，以错误分析理论为基础，在基本翻译原则和英语专业八级翻译要求的指导下，对学生的一次英译汉翻译练习进行分析，收集其中典型的翻译错误、分析错误原因。研究发现学生的翻译中存在许多错误，主要表现在词的本义和引申义选择、措辞不符合汉语表达习惯、专有名词翻译以及对复杂句的理解四个方面。通过分析错误产生原因，本文试图不仅帮助学生从中汲取教训也同时为翻译教学提供一些改进措施，让学生们不再害怕翻译，而是享受翻译的过程，提高翻译质量。关键词:翻译；错误分析；翻译教学；建议Tab
