2、hasmanybenefits.Butinusualcontactwithteachersandstudentsofmiddleschool,itisfoundthattheyhavesomeviewpointsaboutmultimediateaching,sothereismuchvalueandmeaningtomultimediaapplicationinEnglishteachinginmiddleschool.Thepurposesofthethesisarethepresentsituationandthemai
3、nproblemsofmultimediaapplicationinEnglishteachinginmiddleschool,andthenfindoutsolvemethods.Theresearchquestions:1)Whataretheteacher’sandstudent’sviewpointsofEnglishTeachingwithmultimedia?2)Whatis(are)theproblem(s)studentsrunintowhileteachersareconductingEnglishteach
4、ingwithmultimedia?3)Whatarethebestmethodstoresolvetheexistingproblems?Thisresearch,throughquestionnairesurvey,investigatedsomerandomlychosenteachersandstudentsofChangJiNO.4middleschoolandchoosestheGradeTwostudents.Throughsurveyandanalysis,itisfoundthatthemainproblem
5、sexistinginmultimediateachingofEnglishareasfollows:(1)Studentscannottakenoteseffectivelybecauseofthehighspeedofcourseware.(2)Multimediateachingnegativelyreducestheopportunitiesofemotionalexchangebetweenteachersandstudentsbecauseofthechangefrominterpersonalcommunicat
6、iontoman-machinecommunicationinclassroom.(3)Multimediacoursewareoftenservesasaplatformforgatheringmaterialsandinfactbecomesanelectronicversionofthetraditionalspoon-feedingeducation.Thus,manystudentsbecomethepassiverecipientsofinformationinclass.(4)Multimediateaching
