2、etonthelevelsofserumcytokinesinpatientsperformingcontinuousambulatoryperitonealdialysis(CAPD)andtoexploretherelationshipbetweeninflammationandmalnutritioninCAPDpatients.　　Methods:EightynineCAPDpatientswererandomizedintothreegroups,and78casescompletedaoneyearfollowupandwithco

3、mpletedata.Therewere31casesinlowproteindietplusαketoacidgroup,26casesinlowproteindietgroupand21casesinroutineproteindietgroup.Thelevelsofserumalbumin(Alb),prealbumin(PA),retinolbindingprotein(RBP),transferrin(TRF),cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),leptin,andtricepsskinfold

4、thickness(TSF),midarmmusclecircumference(MAMC),bodymassindex(BMI)weremeasured.Thechangesofseruminterleukin1α(IL1α),interleukin6(IL6),tumornecrosisfactorα(TNFα)andCreactiveprotein(CRP)werealsodetected.　　Results:Comparedwithlowproteindietgroup,serumlevelsofPA,RBPandTRFwe

5、resignificantlyincreasedbothinlowproteindietplusαketoacidandroutineproteindietgroups(P<0.01),however,therewasnosignificantdifferenceinthelevelsofPA,RBPandTRFbetweenlowproteindietplusαketoacidgroupandroutineproteindietgroup.TherewasanincreasedtendencyinthecontentofAlb,T

6、C,TG,BMI,TSFandMAMC,buttherewerenosignificantdifferences.TheplasmalevelsofIL1α,IL6andTNFαinlowproteindietplusαketoacidgroupweredecreasedascomparedwiththeroutineproteindietgroup,buttherewerenosignificantdifferences.TheplasmalevelofCRPinlowproteindietplusαketoacidgroupwas
