2、esthatareresoldhaveforcedthecommercialpublisherstotakeaction.Butatwhatcosttohighereducation?Justasthecablemonopoliesarebeginningtolosegroundtootherdeliverysystemsofbroadcastcontent,sotooaretextbookcompanieslosinggroundtootherformsofdelivery.Mostcommerci
3、allydevelopede-textbooksarelittlemorethanenhancedprinteditionsandhavelimitedaccessandrestrictionsonprintinganddownloadingthecontent.Open-accesstextssolvemanyoftheseproblems,but,asmanynowrealize,‘open’doesnotequal‘nocost.’Thisarticlewillexploresomeofthef
