3、ementisquestioningwhetheritshouldcontinue.RealizingvalueToday,moreorganizationsrecognizetheimportanceofpracticingCSR.Genuinesocialresponsibilityfocusesonhowtheorganizationbenefitssociety.CSRcanhelpprovidesolutionstosocialproblems,buildhealthiereconomiesandmaintainsust
4、ainableenvironments.ButCSRisalsoprovingtobenefitcompanies.Themostcommonlyidentifiedcorporateadvantagesincludemaintainingandimprovingreputationorbrandimage,governmentrelations,branddifferentiation,customerloyaltyandemployeerecruitmentandretention.“Thereisamind-shiftgoi
5、ngonregardingCSR.Companiesaremovingfromregardingitasa'nice-to-do'toviewingitasawaytocreatevalueforbusiness,”saysChrisPinney,directorofresearchandpolicyattheCenterforCorporateCitizenship,CarrollSchoolofManagementatBostonCollege.A2009McKinseyStudyconductedincooperationw
6、iththeBostonCollegeCenterforCorporateCitizenshipfoundthatthemajorityofCFOsandinvestmentprofessionalssurveyedagreethatrespondentsenvironmental,socialandgovernanceactionscreatevalueforshareholdersinnormaleconomicdines.Therespondentsalsobelievethatthetwomostimportantways
