2、atarecordedfrompreoperativeand1-,3-,and6-monthpostoperativevisitsineludedvisualacuity,intraocularpressure(IOP),medications,andclinicalexaminationfindingsofinflammation.RESULTS:Twelvepatients(12eyes)withchronic,recurrentnoninfectiousuveitisundergoingcataractextract!on(n=9)orintraocul

3、arlens(IOL)explantation(n=3)wereincluded・Meandurationoffollow-upa什erOzurdeximplantationwas12.9months.Therewasasignificantreduction(n=10,P=0.02)intheaveragenumberofinflammationrecurrences6monthsbeforesurgerycomparedto6monthsaftersurgerywithOzurdexinaffectedeyes・IOPremainedstableinthe

4、postoperativeperiod.OnepatientundergoinganteriorchamberIOL(ACIOL)explantationexperieneedmigrationofOzurdexintotheanteriorchamberresultingincornealedemathatresolvedafter1month.CONCLUSIONS:Ozurdexsafelyandeffectivelycontrolledpostoperativeinflammationineyeswithchronicrecurrentuveitisw

5、henconcurrentlyimplantedduringanteriorsegmentsurgeryinourpatients・CautionshouldbeexercisedincasesofIOLexplantation,asOzurdexuseisnowcontraindicatedineyeswithposteriorcapsuleruptureandACIOLs.
